Hey guys just got my first land rover love it but the alternator went out on me after one week -_- need it back in action ASAP it's my winter vehicle! parts guys like Paul Grant (dismantlers) can help you with the plastic. Many of those at the boneyard are trashed. As for alternator, might have it rebuilt by local shop, or buy a reman one from a parts store - however those have a high failure rate.
