Keep in mind that it would be unusual for these parts to run away. From a previous post -

The cover itself had a crack in it so Im gonna replace that. Ended up getting super pissed and chucking the new sensor, cover, spacers, nuts and screws....... kinda have a bad tempter sometimes

Well, that gets expensive. One method to install is plug in the sensor, let it hang down, then mount.

Was not trying to get on anybodys nerves here, just really needed the parts ASAP and did not have the luxury of waiting seeing how the Disco is my 1 and only daily driver and she was parked at work for afew days. Ended up buying from another forum member for $30..... afew days ago and it just came in the mail. Thanks anyways.

Regarding the install: no matter what I did I could not manage to get enough of my fingers up high enough to grip onto the connector to hold it still, to connect the new sensor to it.... someone recently mentioned something about long *** needle noise pliers so gotta get one and see if it helps. What a pain in the *** though. Its as though they put the Disco together without considering how it will be disassembled for repairs down the road.....

Paid more and took longer. Brilliant.
