Default ISO 4.6 Short Block

I知 currently in search of a 4.6, short block preferably. I知 located north of Atlanta but am willing to drive a few hours for the right engine or pay for shipping. Let me know what you have, thanks.

Default I have a 4.6 short block if you still need one

I have a short block less the heads and timing cover. The oil pan is broken. The crank turns free and the bores look great. I can send you pictures.

Thanks

I have a complete 4.6 that I just pulled out of my 2003. Located in Lexington, KY. 115k on the odometer. I am willing to make it a shortblock if you're interested.

not sure why someone would spend all that money on a rover 4.6, why not do an ls swap, LM4 5.3 OR L33 5.3 why on earth put another 4.6 upgrade, are they that good?

I got a 4.6 rebuilt and tophatted for about $3500 and shouldn't have any issues with it for a long time. I want to do an LS swap eventually but it was likely to be $5-$7,000 if not more. There was a company offering a complete LS kit but they unfortunately shut down because it was a lot more work working with different model years and acting as tech support to their clients. Honestly the 4.6 is a pretty good engine in my opinion because it has decent torque and with a cam upgrade they can make enough power for these trucks, but they do have issues with block quality at times and generally are more finicky than your average GM truck motor. I'm guessing you don't really know what all is involved in the swap but I'm also not sure why you responded to a thread started last may...
