I already have this from my current tow vehicle.

Because you can get that at walmart.
I'm just trying NOT to spend $400+ unless I have to. A used one in good shape for less would suit me just fine.

Just found an OEM one on ebay for $290. Don't think I was going to find a better deal than that so it is on its way to my rear bumper.

Jafir, I appreciate the help anyway.

Sounds like an ok price. When you get it, just make sure that the slot in the bumper/frame is clean and not too rusty. If the hitch doesn't slide far enough in, the locking pin won't engage enough, and people have had the whole thing come out while towing. I usually give it a good solid tap, and then look behind it make sure I see the pin engaged.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check to make sure it's clean. Should I shoot a little WD40 in there before I put it in. I mean a little WD40 never hurts does it.

I would do it, if anything just to help clean things out and maybe to keep it from rusting in the future. It might help it seat in the better too. It is kind of a tapered fit, I've had to give it a good smack to remove it sometimes.

There is supposed to be a red plastic plug that goes in the slot to keep it from getting nasty while the hitch isn't there. I ordered a replacement and installed it and it fell out a day later.
