Default Simple item needed but hard to find

I am looking for, steering gear adjuster lock nut for the top of the steering gear on a 1998 LR LSE, The dealer only sells them in the full rebuild kits and have had no luck in my hunt yet, i have 2 and the seal on one is gone, and the good one has a nice break and it leaks. it's the nut that has the red seal on the bottom of it for adjusting the play in your steering, if anyone has a new or very good one with NO damage I would be very interested. Already gave PT a call he didn't happen to have one except in a full kit which i don't need, trying to avoid spending $100 for a single nut.

Well I had a idea last night and went to work, I made a small gasket for the bottom of the lock nut with a sheet of gasket material. then used rectorseal T 10,000psi thread sealer on the threads, so far after 100miles of driving as i had to do some travelling today its holding strong, no leakage. but if you have a good locknut i would be interested as it would not hurt to have a proper one on it.

Sorry I took so long to look. Been out of control busy. All I found was a 8mm locking sealing nut for the front of newer style box.
