WANTED: Any Land Rover Model
so my sister is now hell bent on getting a land rover for her first car.
she doesnt care about looks or which model it is Disco, RRC, Freelander, etc...
Heres what it needs to have
Reliabilty, (haha its a rover) nah it just doesnt need to break down on her, lower miles (less than 180k), It needs to run, drive, shift, and stop well.
the interior doesnt matter. doesnt have to have heat or a/c. interior can be rough.
no or minimal structrual rust.
and for $1500 or less. preferbly in the southeast part of the states. It would be cash and I would be picking it up.

Stay away from a Freelander.
How far do you want to travel? There are often D1's around Atlanta in the price range, though usually they need something like a head gasket job.

Sounds like you're asking for trouble Brad. A lot of the time these ~$1,500 Rovers have much more wrong with them than what is advertised, you're asking for reliability with $1,500. Just my advice, I'm not coaching, do what you like; let us know what you find!

yeah, just kinda hoping I might just get her to save up some more money so she might even be able to get a nicer one than mine.
@Collin that $1000 D2 looked great but the guys not answering his phone but in the 2nd pic on the front driver window you can see "NEED HE?? G?????" so im guessing thats a head gasket.
I found a RR 1990 Range Rover 4x4 w/ only 73k miles!!! but he had just sold it.
