Looking to upgrade my D2 with a D1 transmission pan with the dip stick in the engine bay for fill and checking fluid level. My understanding is this is a direct fit on the D2, so if you could confirm that, that would be great also. Shipping to zip 24175 please.

My understanding is the D1 dipstick and pan will bolt up to the D2. Am I correct? I have not seen a D1 pan with dipstick and honestly not sure, but yes, I am still interested, just need to make sure I am on the right track and this will work.

 

Yes, the transmission oil pans are interchangeable. The dipstick has an attachment point with one of the bell housing bolts at about 2 o'clock when you're facing forward in the truck.
