you will all roast me for this but it looks like a pile of crap.. it's all bent and rusted. i rather have a straight truck with descent (not even nice) paint.. id much rather have one of those defenders they hookup in iceland

 

If given the choice Ed, I would take the Icelandic Defender too.

 

Last summer I was looking at making a trip to Iceland for a couple of those short cross-country trips in said Defenders. For some of those "tours", they simply hand you the keys and tell you to have fun. Judging from most of the photos I saw, fun (and mud) was in had in great abundance.

I like the unstoppable "Frankenstein" look to the older truck and said look would probably serve as a theft deterrent in the event one encounters a bad neighborhood. I say take both and use the series for the bad parts of town.
