Ok, I normally dont do this but I am pretty proud of myself today.
Yesterday was the 4th and final delivery of Amway's 50th Anniversary gifts to all of its employee's.
3300 people all got a package from Amway.
Of those 3300 we delivered 2500 of them yesterday ontop of our normal 3000 daily package count.
So that is 5500 packages that went out yesterday.
I had 218 stops and 244 packages on my van.
In 8 hours and 15 min I cashed my check, put gas in my van and grabbed lunch to go AND delivered every single package that was on my van.
That works out to roughly 30 stops per hour.
Not to bad for a old guy.
I even did better than the 22 year old who had 205 stops and only got 98% for the day compared to my 100%.
In comparison I average 80 stops on a normal day.
Wound up with 138 route miles compared to my normal 110.
I slept like a dead man last night.
I am still tired! LOL
So all you young guys dont let us gray haired short chubby bald guys fool you, we can still kick @ss.

 

Reminds me of a few years ago at MAR a guy around 18 or so was there with his parents, they's be doing the trails with me and a couple other vehicles and at some point he asked me how old I was. When I told him, his reply was something like, "Wow! Really? There's hope afterall."
