New here...just moved to Forks, Wa. on the Olympic Penninsula...*sigh*, and yes...I have "vampire" proofed my Disco, before anyone asks. Anyway...looking for a Land Rover group or club...or other Rover owners in the are that want to start a informal Rover club in the Olympic Penninsula area.
I have a 1999 series I Discovery SD, upgraded Old Man Emu suspension, Goodyear Dura Trac 31x10.50, Modified front bumper w/ Hi-Lift jack attached, Bull bar w/ 2 9" Hella 155w fog lights, Rear ladder/tail light guards, Rear shackle trailer hitch mount, SSB CB radio w/ 102" stainless steel whip, hand held HAM radio, Tom Tom XL GPS, Magellan topographical GPS, 1000 channel triple trunking scanner w/ digital capability up to 3.3 GHZ, custom built dog/cargo cage.....parts in storage awaiting install...ARB/Safari snorkel, Mile Marker hydraulic winch, 25 old school thick canvas military duffel bags awaiting an upolsterer to make me custom seat covers, 4 100w Hella 500's, 3 gallons of truck bed liner for my roof, hood, rocker panels, and wheel arches, and finally a 1989 Range Rover Classic, awaiting a motor. I am in the market for a cargo rack for the Disco as well.

Welcome to the Pacific NW. I used to live in Vancouver, WA. Here are some of your options:
Northwest Overland
Pacific Coast Rover Club
The NW Overland forum folks organize frequent trips to Tahuya which is in your neck of the woods.
Another nice option is to get in touch with the BC Rovers - Vancouver Island folks. They do monthly runs on Vancouver Island. You can take a ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria:
