What do you guys think?
I think I need to get the sand ladders that Hilltopper has, I'm going to ask for them for Christmas, but otherwise...?

My wife and I are heading out to here and then out to dinner afterwards.

i think they cost $45. for me they were $95 shipped for two 5ft sections. i now have a $7 quick release on them because i don't have a welder or access to one to fab up mounts for the roof rack. i need to hassle one of my club members into building them for me....
I have to paint them again, the color I used it to white so I bought more of a off white but I need to wait to paint them until I have enough daylight to see what I'm doing, right now I go to work in the dark and get home just in time for the sun to set.
The old tired worn out OEM springs are holding up just fine.
ED-here is what I'm going to use once I get real sand ladders.

the only reason i wouldnt have bought those is because i would need two pairs. that is $120, that is $25 more than the ladders themselves. I don't like putting all the weight on one side of the rack so one pair wouldnt suffice. I'm sure if i ordered some plate from onlinemetals.com i could easily built a similar bracket with a drill and some hardware from mcmaster carr
