Hi there! A recent arrival in need of some help...
I've recently come into possession of a very sad 1962 S2a, I'm currently trying to get the rear tub somewhat squared up, but it has no floor. I've been trying to locate some sort of dimensions/blueprint of the floor panel so I could get a new one laser cut out of aluminium plate, but so far.. I haven't been able to find anything really accurate to go by. Any help
would be MUCH appreciated!
Got the old floor out of my seies3 , taken some dimensions for you - 1210 x 915mm , the top hat sections are 255mm in from side to centre and the top hats are 200mm crs , think I got some 4mm from work for mine but the top hats are a none std size and we did not have tooling to press them so I bought new ones , I put the whole lot together with counter sunk rivets so it has a flush finish , but got rubber mat on so did not really matter , see pic of underside of old floor.
regards Ivan
