I've just bought a 1973 88 soft top. The front belts all need replacing. Anyone know if I can replace the static belts with retractable? (The anchor point is BELOW the top of the seat.) Or, more importantly, where to buy them other than Rovers North? Atlantic British doesn't carry them. I'm in the US, btw.

I had the same problem with my series 3 , in the end I bought pair of raised seat belt mountings off Ebay -324450863130 item numer and a pair of Securon 3 point fixing seat belts they where only about £25 , everything fitted well and all works ok , but shipping may be your problem in USA , I could draw the mounting up for you if you can find someone to bend the tube and fabricate them .
I hope this helps a bit .
