S2a Throttle linkages

Default S2a Throttle linkages

Hi all, I'm a bit stuck trying to reinstall my throttle linkages after a rebuild. I'm trying to do it per the manual, as opposed to the random springs and linkages from the previous owner haha.
Problem is the linkage from the carb to the supporting bracket is sprung so that the throttle butterfly is open. I'm pretty sure it should spring closed? i.e the bell crank lever opens the throttle under torsion from spring, rather than closes. Hope that makes sense.
Can somebody please send me a photo of their linkages?
Attached is what I have.

It should definitely spring closed. My linkage had been bodged long before I got the vehicle so I just made it work.

Ta. Really hoping somebody can post an original linkage setup! Trying to avoid a bodge on this rebuild, but may have to.
