Default series 3 engine?

Hi, I have an old diesel engine, believe from series 3, but i don`t know what type it is. I have read that it could be 200,300 or td5. I someone could help me or even say how I can recognise or compare those engines. I also have, beside engine and gearbox, both axles from 4x4 drive so if someone could tell a price I could ask for that. Thank you very much for any response.

That is a Series 2a engine and transmission. Not a Series 3.

I believe that engine is called a 10J. Production would be somewhere between 1964-1971 (or so). Looks extremely crusty, its a core at best.

Prices:
Engine: $300
Transmission: $200
Transfer case: 200
Axles: ~400 for both

In all honesty, that engine is not in high demand and its in bad shape. So it won't be fetching a premium price.

Do yourself a favor and hit them with a pressure washer.

Looks like a 2.25. And, as with any engine you can't see running, it should be considered a core... which isn't worth much. I'd say $300-400 for the whole assembly, including transmission... unless it runs and drives, where a buyer can see that is isn't just a boat anchor.
