Are there pics of "FrankenRover"? Sounds like a challenging, yet fun build.

One of the first things I bought for the disco...bought it along with the black disco in the back and a snorkel. All this was before I really started getting into fixing it and thinking it was going to be a simple engine install!!

A bit more work done tonight while saving up for new brake line

Washer fluid bottle was broken in several pieces and the parts one had the tabs cut off along with the wiring for the pumps.

So a bit of aluminum and a drill press I have new tabs along with the wire

bits needed from the parts truck.

Another small update for anyone, if anyone, is still following lol.

New radio/dvd installed, finished the washer pump wiring and hoses. Good news is the front works, rear not so much. Neither rear wiper or washer working.
Other bit of goodness....rear airbags work so no need rush in replacing with springs from donor truck.
Still saving up for brake line tubing.....really not looking forward to bending all that tubing and making the flares

At the risk of being labeled 'Captain Obvious' it seems there was a very good reason you found this Disco where you found it.
