Battle Won!

Thanks Guys!
This was the longest inspection struggle ever. Took me close to 2 years before I straighten this out. 8 months parked because of no start, MAF Coils wires etc. Then fixed, then oil leak, change oil pump then wont start again because of timing chain broke. Then fixed, then wife use all time. Then O2 front sensors (Bosch) run out of warranty, 4 times in a year or so, dead out of box or few months usage. Often, I just reset it and get it inspected to buy some time. this truck cycles over 100 miles until code shows up. Last few codes dealt last week and until I drove over 130 miles no code and went straight to dmv today. Learned plenty with this code cycles with this truck and which pending codes resets itself and passed.

That's crazy. In the US, even if you live somewhere with no emissions testing or inspections, any cop can issue a $10,000 federal fine for not catalytic converters based on both a visual check or a smell test.

Doubt that fine has ever been enforced here. Worst case scenario is a noise complaint in a neighborhood, resulting in a verbal warning. Maybe the same thing if your pipes are spitting flames down a city street. God I love the Midwest lol
