Default Rotoflex - which is the correct orientation

So I am trying to confirm if I put my rotoflex in correctly when i replaced it. Searches online show both. I have replaced both shafts and the rotoflex and still have vibration. Wondering if i put it in wrong. So of the two photos which is correct?

Hang on. I've got a flange sitting in my garage with the donut still on it. I'll post a picture.

The first pic is correct.

Providing you bought a GKN Rotoflex you will see arrows pointing which way the bolt goes in.

I think mine is in wrong. Thoughts on using lock nuts on these?

YES of course use lock nuts on a Rotoflex!!! All Metal or Nyloc Grade 10 ( I would use the all metal), but just use them for sure.
> PLEASE DON'T BUY LOW GRADE or CHEAP HARDWARE....you WILL REGRET IT!

The bolt is part # FTC4043 and the lock nut is # NV112041L > LOCKNUT M12 PROPSHAFT, RND198, NV112041L - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

I don't care where you buy the hardware from, but you want parts #11, 12, and 13 in the pic. > Discovery II Prop shaft and U Joint - Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts

Preferably fit new bolts, nuts and washers and insert the bolts in the direction of the arrows on the Rotoflex. Don't forget to torque them up correctly also.
