Lug bolt size: 27mm or 1 1/16"?

27mm if in mint condition, 1 1/16 if slighlty abused, and honestly the one piece lugs I got off of Ebay for 35.00 are the best solution for never having to worry about tire shops jacking up your lug nuts again.
I’d post a link, but the guy I got the really high quality one piece P38/D2 lugs from can longer get them..

The really really good quality ones I got = nope. I tried some from another Ebay vendor for my LR3 and I only got 18 at first, then they sent two more ASAP and they were wrong... Finally got two of the correct ones, Harvey snuck up on us (56 inches of rain) and after we survived that the solid LR3 lug nuts were rusty... The D2 ones I got have zero rust and look great after being fully under water while I drove in/out of my flooded neighborhood. I put the OEM ones back on my LR3 and slapped the rusty ones on my parts truck (D2 with my old LR3 rims on it).

So, yes, it was purely a cosmetic decision.

Yep best upgrade I ever did on my D1 was running a set of RRC solid lug nuts! Love em on my D2 as well. The silly alloy caps are not air gun friendly at all. If I tell a shop to loosen them by hand & they don’t I was that guy who tested the lugs with my socket & if they were messed up I made the shop pay for em!! After that they knew better.
Now I don’t have to worry again with the solid lugs.

It's funny because on the Craiglist thread in the General section, MARNO, a great source for old RRC parts, had the steel lug nuts listed for $6 a piece and someone thought that was ridiculous! First, at $6 a piece with free shipping MARNO is probably netting about $2-3 a nut. Second, and more important, these are GREAT lug nuts that are highly desirable. At $6 a piece with free shipping, they're a steel (sic)!!!
I'd be on the phone with MARNO asking how much a complete set would cost.
