Hope someone can point me in the right direction. I’ve spent hours on Google and some of the common electronics sites.
I’m looking to build a wiring harness and plug into the HVAC unit for seat heater. EBay sellers want about $200 for the harness and I only need a couple of dollars in parts. Considering the time I’ve spent, it’s starting to sound pretty good.
Closest I’ve come is Tyco/AMP series 70 MULTILOCK.
Here are a couple of pictures of the connectors that I’m dealing with:
White is 6 way, female. Male blades are about 2.38mm in width
11607 is molded into the connector. This is on the back of the Temperature control module for heated seats.
The wires will go to the right kick panel. I need the pins (Female) to click into the connectors. They look like this:
Grey/orange is for the power for 16 ga wire and green/red are 22ga.
I had connected with Paul Grant as he was breaking an HSE, but still waiting for confirmation on parts.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
As a last resort, I can forgo the connector and just run wires to female crimp connectors and shrink wrap them individually and splice into the wires after the connectors in the footwell.
Had a breakthrough after looking at a bunch of drawings last night. I ordered some parts. We’ll see if I figured it out. Will update the thread when there’s something to share.
No joy. Close, but a tad too big and the terminals didn’t line up. Got lucky and found a harness on eBay for $50 shopped. Oh well....
i pulled the automatic temperature control module apart to look at the connector mounted to the board. The only mark I could find was a logo that looked like an R and A04.
I have all of the dimensions if someone has a supercatalog or search tool.
