Your list doesn't look terribly long, first three could be done at one time. Drop trans fluid and diff and bleed brakes while fluids are draining. Just start hitting your bleeder screws with WD40 now and everyday in between now and the bleeding. 20 year old bleeder have a tendency of breaking. Be patient...or use a bit of heat to remove them...but don't go crazy with the torch...or you could ruin the internals of the caliper (rubber seals on cup).

Called Lucky8, and things have been sorted. Have to buy a new t-stat, but after the claim to manufacture goes through I’ll get reembursed. Need to provide a picture and a brief explanation and that’s it.

Maybe ths $60 for a new t-stat would be better spent on the inline setup?

I would put the $60 towards something with an LS motor. Glad to hear the overheats where due to a brand new thermostat, gotta make you feel really good knowing it's brand new parts screwing you over!

I think at this point I'd leave the torch going under a seat and just walk away and call it fixed.

So wait, i'm confused. For some reason in my head, i thought the black Britpart T-stat was some how better then the grey housings but i couldn't tell you why.

Is this legit? $30 for a BP black tstat?

Britpart T-stat

edit: Seller is Lucky8 -- but this isn't listed on their website

I bought the same one from Lucky8 on ebay.
Normally I call, but it was a weekend, so I ordered it there.
Haven't finished my rebuild yet, but I got the black low temp thermostat, and like anything I order from Lucky8, it only took 2-3 days to get.
