The reading I posted was actually high. That is what I was using as a max value for our intake tube project.

Attached is the at idle value. I revved the motor and the highest value I got was 21in.Hg vac. It shouldn’t make a difference, but this is on a 4.0.

Thanks abran. Stock cam I assume?

Sounds like my vacuums are actually normal, assuming yours is running well

I still need to test the exhaust backpressure @ the o2 ports, but the vacuum test indicated no blockage there. oil burning issue aside, I'm pretty sure my uphill performance problem is a combination of heavy weight, 32" tires, and stock gearing.
