Just cut to fit the inside of the roof, push it in where you can on any edges, and use some clear silicone in a few spots. It just needs to stay up long enough to put the headliner back up.
But, you can glue it to the back side of the headliner if you want to.
A 4'x10' roll of Reflectix is $25 on ebay.

I recently had that leak, fixed it by putting some clear silicon in the gap where the rubber strip at the top corner of the windshield is a tiny bit short... Since I recently had a new windshield installed my first guess was something related to that work. Has not leaked since.
Do you have a photo of where you added the silicone?

I've only had my '04 for about a month, so I'm still learning my way around. I went by the only local LR repair specialist in the area (aside from the stealership) and introduced myself last week. Asked them about the leak at the headliner above the A pillar and he said it is usually the sunroof leaking. ??

I probably should have washed all the pollen off first... Lol, but you can see where the rubber seal is in a different spot than it was before the new windshield went in. There was a small gap there which the silicon fills. I also pried that corner piece up as it wasn't glued down firmly and applied silicone under that too.

Dave, THANK YOU! I've been trouble shooting this for a year. I peeled back the corner piece, and the longer plastic cover across the top of the windshield and of course, there was a very thin bead of silicone. I've been slowly adding more and more this week since we've been having a ton of rain, and the leak gets smaller and smaller everytime. I'm probably going to re-silicone the entire top part of the windshield, but it seems to have fixed it.
