Unhappy 1 man shot and his Rover stolen in New Jersey...

Well yet another incident involving a Land Rover. 4 black thugs kill a man in front of his wife then hijack their Range Rover..... sigh this is really getting sad! Right on the holidays to. Hate to see anybody involved in this ****, especially my fellow Rover owners! Makes me ****ing sick!

Very sad - seemed a very nice guy too. Unfortunately these thieving scum appear in every society now. So the guy is murdered for a few $grands worth of car - sheer lunacy. Hopefully these alleged murderers will be duly dealt with in the US, sadly it won't help the guy's wife and family.

It is a 2012 Range Rover Sport so there is a hefty price tag for it, more than a couple grand. But yeah seems thugs like to target Land Rover owners..... second innocent this year.

NJ does not have the death penalty since 2007, so the tax payers will be hosting these guys for the rest of their life if convicted.

I'm not a supporter of capital punishment although I used to be but sometimes I wonder why? Unfortunately there have been many errors in the UK over many years and DNA has demonstrated that. Once again, you cannot say sorry afterwards and reverse the status quo but sometimes I wonder in some cases when caught with the 'smoking gun' scenario. The problem being that in europe and the UK sentencing has gone soft and unless it involves public money the penalties are very soft. This is a typical case where one wonders whether they should bring back capital punishment:-

The problem being in some cases it will be seen as martyrdom.

You're right Slabrat, I equally detest keeping the AH's and scum in semi luxury at the taxpayers expense but the system is wrong. They should maybe revert to the chain gangs or USSR style hard labor camps for these scumbags but unfortunately these days the 'do gooders' intervene and plead that they have 'human rights'...........what about the victims though, didn't they have human rights!

That's really unfortunate news.. my heart goes out to the family. Why do people feel the need to take advantage of others that way? I like to think that there is good in everyone but perhaps that is just too naïve? I've been curious about the 'sexy hood ornament' Dusty is saving up for as well as the name 'Yoshimi' :-) Merry Christmas!...
