I went with a group of mates for a drive around a logging forest in Bala at the weekend. Amazing scenery and fantastic tracks but not for the first time one of our guys got it badly wrong on what looked like a simple track.

That was an interesting rollover and recovery. Just goes to show how incredibly easy it is to get off the trail slightly and wind up in trouble in the blink of an eye. You guys are certainly extremely prepared for stuff like that. Kudos to your club.

I think it's just about keeping a level head more than anything. We do prepare as much as we can but if I'm honest a lot of that was a learning experience for us. We could have easily just ragged it back onto it's wheels but really wanted to minimise damage for the poor guy!

Some nice shots of the under belly. Do you know what some of the equipment is? The fuel tank skid and rock sliders in particular? Thanks!

It's all just very standard stuff you get in the 4x4 supplier sin the UK. The rock sliders are fabricated by local guys to fit.
