2000 Discovery 2 4.0

So im having a very weird noise that at first i thought was just my exhaust leak, i did the manifold gaskets but in the video you can hear i do have another leak somewhere but can also hear this very odd noise. i assumed it was engine noise so i put my phone in the engine bay and drove down the road, you can hear my exhaust leak and with the volume high up can hear the noise im talking about very distant. but in the video outside the vehicle you can clearly hear the noise. it sounds bad i can hear it in the cab its very loud next to walls and other cars as you would assume. im extremely stumped on where it could be coming from and i hope someone on here has some insight. i read another post where someone said it was their tcase, ive also been told its my cam going out. to me it sounds like timing ping this has been happening for about a month. it didnt happen for a week, and it also only happens under load, i can hold the brake and push on the throttle and it sometimes happens. but if i try to just open the hood and rev it theres no noise other then the leaks. it does not happen as soon as i start it up and drive away either only after i get out to the main road or after ive driven maybe 1/8th mile.


Thank you for any input anyone has i have a 16 hour drive ahead of me in a week and a half and i really need to get this figured out so i dont feel the need to rent a car for it.
