'96 4.0 Suspension conversion?
Ready to switch from factory lift susupension and just go with reqular shocks/struts. Do I need to buy a kit for this or is it as simple as going to a suspension shop and have the current susupension removed and shocks/struts installed. Thanks.
You'll probably need to order the shocks/struts and then take it to a mechanic to have them installed. It just depends on if you mechanic has the correct shocks/struts for your vehicle. If you're talking about the air suspension then no it's not that simple.
Shocks can be fairly cheap to pretty expensive depending on what you want. Some work better and last significantly longer than others... they can be a pretty penny. I'd check out Atlantic British or British Pacific for some options.
