New shocks will help if you have alot of miles on your old ones. Factory shocks are mostoften junk from new anyways. I have coils spring front and back on my 2000 D2, I feel every bump in the road.I will be puting new shocks on mine soon. They will also help reducebody roll on sudden swerves.
