Suspension recommendations?

Suspension recommendations?
Hello All,
I recently purchased a 2001 Discovery II, first one I've owned and so far it's been great! At least one of the tires is cupped, so right now my ride is pretty noisy. I've read that cupped tires are usually caused by warn struts. Before I spend money on new tires I want to make sure the suspension is correct...
I'm looking for recommendations on what to get, struts etc. and where the best place to get them is from. My Disco will mainly be used on road, with some light off roading.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Suspension recommendations?
Michael,
How many miles on your truck? The GoodYears that Rover put on our Disco are known to generate alot of irregular tread wear, like your cupping.
The other thing or you to know is that Rover suspensions do settle when you hit around 50,000 miles and if you want the best ride on or off road it would be good to look at some new coils and shocks at some point.
Don't buy another set of Good year tires, Perillies are another tire that we have problems with, their tread rubber is very soft and they wear out very fast.

Depending on your financial situation, I would either go with a bilstein suspension, or you can go to www.car-part.com and see if theres any good deals in your area, or you can do what i did which costs a little extra but is amazing is, a air bag suspension w/manual controls. If your interested let me know i can give you more details.
