Default What Lift Kit do you recommend??

Hello All,

I would like your recommendations for a 2 inch lift KIT. I was looking at

http://www.dap-inc.com/acc/app/d2/d2...usp.shtml#susp

Or I can buy individual components to correctly achieve a 1.5 or 2 inch lift. Please tell me your pro's and con's about your setups too!

Thanks.

Based on years of being around Rovers, I would recommend OME coils and springs, they offer 3 or 4 different coils depending on your needs.
Make sure to always use their HD shocks, not the standard ones.

Do not buy DAP Big Blue Kit and run for the hills when it comes to procomp shocks. They are garbage!

OME is a great suspension for your 2 inch lift needs

really like our tf med duty kit so far. ours must have really been sagging. the 2" lift raised it 5" in the back and 4.5 in the front

I got a deal on OME MD springs, so I bought them, but went with TF +2 shocks to give me some additional articulation possibilities if I choose to remove the sway bar links for off-roading. I have not been disappointed, have not removed sway bars links yet.

OME lift for sure, without a doubt the best performing system on and off road!!

i will recommend you Coil Spacer Lift Kit which is set of CNC machined aluminum coil and spring spacers, This suspension will give you 2" of extra lift for bigger tires while you still using the stock springs. This kit included with front shock relocation mounts. This is a machined direct bolt in kit.

Bad suggestion. Disco springs and shocks, if wheeled much, are shot around 50,000 miles, throw a set of spacers under your old suspension will make you less stabile and more top heavy.

Hey, Friends, I have an 89' Defender 90 on the way and looking to do a 2" lift on it. Thinking of going with an OME kit. My question is should I also get the caster correction kit and steering damper?
Here is the kit https://www.4x4works.co.uk/product/o...eries-1990-16/

Thank you for any advice
