Tires for 2004 Discovery general use

I'll be going with the Nitto Terra Grappler when my Michelin's wear out. They make them in the factory size and are rated good for on/off road use. I talked to a local tire dealer who has had 4 Discovery's over the years and loved the Nitto's over the factory Goodyears on the 18" wheels.

Nittos are also very good tires. But if you want the same off road grip on a more comfortable/quiet tire, I would recommend either Zeon LTZ, Hankook ATM10 or GY Silent Armor.

My wife's 04 Disco with 265/60/18 Silent Armors with no lift, factory height. By the way, those Silent Armors just came off my LR3 with almost 50k miles of comute traffic and serious off road abuse. Still ride super smooth, comfortable and quiet. Never a single flat tire.
