Default 95 Water Pump

I've got Fluid pumping out of the front of what looks like a hole on the side of the water pump. You can see the hole right behind the belt of the pump? I pulled the Thermostat out and had to run it with out while the new one came in. The heat went out the other day and fluid is pouring out of the hole shown here and it is over heating again. Bad pump? Freeze plug hole? Help.

if coolant is coming out of the vent hole then its bypassing
the internal seal inside the water pump, replace.
don't forget to use pipe tape on the three long 11MM headed bolts

X2, replace your pump, its bad. Make sure to keep you coolant topped off, that's why you lost heat.

I wouldn't drive until you replace it. These engines don't take overheating well....

You have been lucky. Aluminum heads and block with steel liners. Overheat and usually you drop a liner.....

Do you know anything about the door handles on these things. I see from your Rover you have the same door handles as I do. I've torn the drivers side and drivers side rear door handles off. Easy to replace and where do you find them?

www.roverlandparts.com has good prices on good used stuff, but I would say E-bay right now...

I have bought form this seller before, and they are pretty good on shipping and getting you what was advertised.

Not too hard to get out.
