Default 02 freelander wiper fuse keeps blowing up?

Hi there. My buddy has a 02 freelander and the wiper fuse keeps blowing up? He said replaced it about 3 times already but it just keeps blowing fuses. I was thinking its a loose ground or something in that area. Does anyone have a wire diagram? Anyone had this problem before? Do you guys think it's the relay or wiper motor? I would appreciate any help. Thanks

probably the motor but disconnect the motor and start using it to see if it blows.

if it doesn't then its the motor. if it does then start down the line.

yes if that is the case then take off the steering wheel cover and back probe the wiper switch for power on both sides. if it is working it will close the circuit and you will get power to both sides of the connector.
