Does anybody know of someone who makes key replacements, or at least how much it would cost to replace the keys?
will i need to buy a new gas cap too?
Thanks in advance for all your help.
I hope you got that sorted out after a year, anyway. i don't believe that the dealer is the only option for a car key replacement. you can call a locksmith, they are cheaper and faster than the dealer. i can tell, because that is what i did when i lost my car keys last year. i was with my family in Cambridge for holidays at my friend's house, so after dinner and two bottles of Sagrantino red wine we decided to have a walk and i still don't know how, but i lost my keys somewhere in Jesus green park. too much wine i guess. anyway we got back to my friend's place and after a quick research on google we found this site Car Key Specialist Index | carkeyadvice.com
where we were able to find a locksmith in that area. luckily he was able to come after two hours. i paid £240 for a new remote key to my discovery 1998.
