Cool Box wont turn on please help

I just posted under the general topics then i thought maybe posting under Range Rover would be better so here we go.... I got a 2011 Range Rover Sport V8 i just picked up last week... and i love it my car didnt come with a cool box and i wanted one so i bought a Cool Box for the center console off a auction and put it in today and it wont turn on... I hooked it up to the factory harness.... the fuse behind the glove box is good..(car is in japan... drive on the right side so fuse box is behind passenger glove box) i thought the unit might be bad so i took it out and hooked it up to 12V and its worked perfectly... light came on ... fan turned on... worked perfect.. so i put it back into my rover.. plugged it back into the harness and it wont turn on... check the fuse again and its fine... F16 (has a cute little bottle in a cooler so i know its the correct fuse) anyone have any ideas why my cool box wont turn on ... please help me ... everyone thanks in advance Ryan

does the outlet in the truck have power?
do you know what part of the plug should be powered with 12V and whats is the ground?
does the appliance have the correct plug for the outlet being used?

if the vehicle doesn't come with it then it wont have the neccesary program to give it power and to shut off when necessary.

you can't retro electrical parts on these vehicles. Havent been since 04. Shouldn't checked with the dealer before buying the parts.

The fan will only run when the vehicle is on. wont run with it off.

how can i get the cool box to turn on... where can i tap to get 12v

and i only want the cool box to run while the car is on ...

so im guessing i can tap into the ACC?

any ideas?
