Default found the source of my electrical gremlins

so for the most part, my P38 runs really well. drips a little bit of oil but aside from that its been doing well, aside from a few small electrical glitches.

most annoying of which has been the wipers, which have only been working on high...and on that when they want to.

replaced the wiper motor to no avail with the same on going issue, so it was time to dig a bit deeper. good thing that my best friend also happens to be a guru at automotive electronics and quickly identified the problem: broken sodder connections on the relay board.

we opened up the relay box only to find some severe corrosion and breaks on multiple connections.

he got busy with the soddering iron and in no time went down the line one by one carefully reconnecting each connection.

i'm happy to report now that the wipers work as they should and they're ready for winter! i'm glad he checked this place first, vs everything else that i've read so far in other articles saying to start at the BeCM which is just fine.

don't know what i would do sometimes with out his expertise with this thing!!

Good job! And good photos. Cold or cracked solder joints can have a mind of their own by temperature and vibration.

I just took my fuse box apart to solve a different gremlin, and I am very pleased to say it looks brand new . In either case, nice work PKG!
