127k miles - coolant leak
Well, over the years (and miles) I’ve had several of the “low coolant warning” faults. I think I’ve been down the faulty sensor repair a couple of times - usually for small, for Land Rover, costs. In every case, the reservoir was visibly full - so the diagnosis aligned with the evidence. Recently, after racking up 127k miles, the light for low coolant came on and I assumed it was once again a faulty sensor. I figured at some point, I should just ignore the warning an “penny jumper over the breaker”. I’m glad I didn’t.
Turns out, all my coolant was missing. I refilled it and within 3 weeks, it all went missing again. So, after 127k miles of ownership, I had to have the coolant leak repair done for about $2k. That’s an expensive fix, but if I get another 127k miles out of it before it happens again, maybe not so bad.
I’ve read a lot about coolant leaks on this forum. I don’t know where the magic failure point is, but I guess you can add me to the list of folks who have had to make that repair. 2020 Defender SE, P400, 127k miles.

Reservoir, turbo o-rings, cap, water pump?
One coolant leak over 127K miles isn't bad. I had 3 coolant leaks repaired on our 2023 in the first 5K miles. Turbo o-ring, lower radiator hose and somewhere on the upper engine block. Totally surprised by these as I thought coolant leaks were nearly extinct. At least they were on the vehicles in our family motor pool over the last 20 years.
