@aao4473 you have any more pics of how the discoverers look on your rig? Seems like looks are the only downside of the Cooper's. I was set on getting the ko2's until reading this, Infact they would already be on my truck if the set I ordered hadn't been lost in transit. Chance also has it that the at3 4s is on a massive 40% off sale at my local Tire store, making them literally half the price of the KO2's, sounds like it's meant to be.
sure, will be posting them under the review thread.
definitely the KO2 tires look amazing on the defender and dont get me wrong its an amazing tire, but it wasn’t working well with the defender, it was heavy and stiff and the suspension didn’t feel right with these tires.
I have the cooper 4S, XL load range
but you can check out cooper at3 xl, a bit more aggressive than the 4s’s

I have a P300 S and went with the 19". I liked the look of it, and as others here had said the Goodyears are pretty good (stock or Duratrac) is you're not doing serious off-roading. With the P300, I figured worst-case scenario I can always buy a set of 18" wheels with proper off-road tires if I do get more into the off-road scene.

I'm currently considering replacing my 2018 Disco with a 2022 Defender 110.
The one I'm looking at is equipped with the following wheels:
031RF 20" Style 6011, 6 spoke, gloss black
The spec sheet shows it comes with 029BA Pirelli tires, which I believe are just plain old all weather tires
I'd prefer to fit some off road tires, but the dealer advised me you cannot fit off road tires to this wheel...is this true?

yes, for an inexplicable reason, since the beginning of Defender 2, JLR is reserving that pretty gloss back wheel for customers who want non-off-road tires. To my knowledge, this is the only limitation they are putting on tire selection.
It is possible that this specific wheel does not pass JLR strength requirements for off-roading, put JLR has been fully mute on the topic,

I was looking for choices in the 20inch (255/60/20) winter set, but there seem to be only two choices available. Pirelli and Continental, and reviews on either of them are not great. Nothing in the 19’s.
I’m awaiting delivery in November, so would need to buy a set. I’ve ordered the 5098 style rim, and as you know it comes with All Seasons. And we are not legally allowed to drive all season’s during winter season.
Are there different size tires that I could mount on these rims?

why do defenders come with 19" wheels
I'm new to this forum and am in the process of "building" a new defender 110; I'm surprised that these huge SUVs start out with such small tires (19 inch). First of all, I'm not an off road guy, I'm a soccer dad with loves the classy but rugged look of the Defender; I don't need all that off-road stuff but I do want to look good and have nice handling as I driver the kids through the burbs. Should I get the big 22 inch wheels or are the 19 inch sufficient?
