2020 Defender won't start
Hi all, 2020 Defender 110 HSE P400. During a 2,000 mile trip intermittently started getting check engine light and abs light (not always at same time). Also, occasionally had brief power hesitation like a cylinder misfire. Seemed like this was triggered by hitting serious road bumps. Finally near the end of the trip, the truck totally shut down while on a bumpy section of road and refused to restart. While trying to restart it, got the weak battery warning. Unfortunately this happened shortly after crossing the border southbound in Sonora MX. Had it towed on flatbed to my house down here. Hooked up NOCO charger and used iCarsoft LR v3.0 to read codes: initially only permanent code was PO135 O2 sensor (which makes sense given the occasional misfires). Cleared all the codes but still no start. Purchased and installed new battery and registered it with the iCarsoft. Still won't start - car turns on but when I press the brake and hit the start button it just shuts down. New codes are: PO85D-96 gearshift control module failure, and B0001-13 drivers airbag open circuit.
I'm at a loss now - is it loose wiring somewhere? Trying to avoid having it towed up to Tucson to a dealer. Thanks for any advice or help you can give!

You will probably need a new hybrid battery. I do not believe there is a way to charge it as -I think- it is a 48 volt battery. Best to check with your dealer as a replacement might have to be coded. Maybe others who had theirs replaced can chime in. Good luck.
