It's odd that there's a Land Rover dealer at the port of arrival.

Thanks. I shall talk to my dealer today and see what’s up.

LOL. Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions (WWS) does vehicle processing for JLR at Brunswick (East Coast) and Port Huaneme (West Coast).

Just an FYI, as I learned when I picked up my 2021 110 HSE on March 26 in Georgia: No matter what Pack or Accessory you include in your build, none of them are arriving at port with those Packs/Accessories installed or even thrown in the rear trunkspace-- because they told me that LR has a shortage of both the Packs/Accessories + the maker of same has shortage of the pieces that go into each. Example: my build included the below
  • Luxury Carpet Mats -----> no one has
  • Urban Pack
    • Front Undershield ----> no one has
    • Bright Rear ScuffPlate----> no one has
  • Front Classic Mudflaps------>no one has
  • Rear Classic Mudflaps ----->no one has
  • Fixed Side Steps-----> no one has

So these items basically are listed on the build, but final sale showed them off to the side, not included in final price/financing. It shows them Backordered-- so I was told just to wait till they arrive and then leave car w them to have all done at same time.

Same here. @Moretti and I talked about this one earlier in (I think???) this thread. As @Juancl pointed out, the shipping company does the processing on a strictly limited number of accessories (and interestingly, a list that appears to change over time -- some parts are available at the port, others aren't, and I'm definitely intrigued since I have the front undershield on the list, in the build, and on the quote but it's pretty much unobtanium.

Looks like the Traviata is close to Panama; only a few weeks left for the mystery to resolve itself.

Timeline:
3/9 placed order
3/31 final day to change build
4/31 build date
6/25 arrival date

Options:
Silicon Silver
Black Roof
Folding fabric roof
18” gray 5094’s
Acorn Interior
Advanced Off-Road Pack
Clearsight Rearview
Wheel Arch Protection
Front/Rear Mudflaps
Meridian Sound System
Heated Front Seats
Fog Lights
Deep sided mats
Tow hitch
ATX Defender-

I remember you showing your build date of 4/30/21. Any news? I'm wondering if that date means "built by" (assuming the building probably starts a few days before) or "built on" (meaning everything happens on that day). Supposedly a VIN is assigned upon build completion.

My "built" date is next Friday...

Hopefully you'll get an update from your dealer's tracking system, if you haven't already.

Cheers from Arkansas!

Interesting, curious if that has been the same experience for others that have included accessories that would be installed by VPC. Selfishly, would be interested in seeing if anybody who included the Front Undershield as an added accessory have gotten it. @micmcm assume in your case those accessories will be installed at the dealer but at no additional charge other than what was already included in the build? Or do they do it at the dealer's installation cost (which is higher than VPC).

The boat is in Panama, so almost there!

My dealer added an hourly labor rate for installation of the accessories that I ordered (fender flares, roof rack, ladder, etc.), and proceeded to put in the order for the parts back in March, although I have no idea what the back-order situation will do to this.

@expatbrit and @Moretti do you guys have a list of what can be installed at port? I am tempted to add the roof rack, as I am taking delivery in UT (I live in FL) and will be doing some trips with the family for a few weeks over there before bringing it down here and my wife thinks I am crazy for thinking we can live out of a couple duffle bags (which is what you can fit on the "boot" of a D90) for that long. The list price for the roof rack is steep (you can find it cheaper online and installation is really straightforward) but given my circumstances adding at port might be a must to keep a happy marriage :-)
