Allegedly...mine 9/17 also. They told me 12/3 delivery but hope sooner. Ordered mine in June. Same as yours: hse, p400, clearsight. Hud, 11 inch screen, etc. Getting nervous. Lol

No kidding. If the world doesn't end in 5 days and the ship doesn't sink.

Surely a concern now is what happens in any of our existing vehicles has a component failure, but the dealership can't fix it because of this chip problem?

Good morning, first time poster. We placed our order in April and our SA stated it had been accepted in July. Original build and delivery date was September but now looks like November.

Btw our SA told us a couple of weeks ago that starting with December deliveries Defenders were switching to analog displays because of the chip shortage. Has anyone heard this yet? He said our vehicle made the cut but anything starting in December would be different.

I had HUD on my order which should be delivered in November. Was told last week HUD will not be available for 6-8 months.

So true. No body parts, windshields, electronic parts, running gear available in most areas. Local body shop says they can't get sheet metal/aluminum for vehicles because the manufacturers are hell bent on building what they can, even if they sit in storage yards, so no spares are being shipped. Two to three months for a windshield, 6 months or more for drive train parts. And they can't blame that on chip shortages, perhaps on labor shortages or whatever...

Ordered in March, due to MY22 changes and I think the dealer allotments the order was not finalized and placed until April 8.
Original delivery was expected Aug. 30.
Moved to Oct. 1 and then Oct. 29 one right after the other in last week of July.
At the beginning of Sept. I was called to approve the change to the half analog guage cluster.
And I was just called to be advised that they do not have a delivery date for me anymore, and that they are estimating that it will be pushed out one month.

I also have HUD added to my build, but was told that was not changed.
Fingers crossed I guess.

That makes me nervous again! I think me and Allegedly have builds on 9/17 with hud, 11 inch, and interactive driver display. If they try to ask my approval to change any of those it's a NO for me. But so far no word from dealer on changes.

I'm told mine is still set for 9/17 which is supposed to mean it's being built as we speak and done by Friday. I don't have HUD though.

X-Dynamic HSE P400 110 Clearsight, 11.4", comfort & convenience pack, 3-zone climate, & air suspension. All still confirmed as of last Thursday. IDD is standard on that trim and that is confirmed as well.
