My 90X made it to the port of Baltimore yesterday. Early January still looking good for getting behind the wheel in it. Dealer submitted the order to LR in early September. LR built it mid November. As far as I know it will be coming with everything that I spec’d except the side ladder.

My 110 X hit Baltimore last week, waiting on the call from the dealership that it is ready to pick up. I have to truck down to VA from NY to take delivery, bank check in hand. Hoping for an early Christmas! :-)

If you are from MA, and were willing to wait an indeterminate amount of time for JLR order books to open back up, I've experienced nothing to make me think that they won't deal with you at MSRP.

Speaking of this, the salesman has been ok up until now. However, now the truck is at the port, he's still dodging my requests for the VIN. I think he's doing that to make it difficult for me to close external financing, has anyone seen this from JLR dealer sales people?
We also purchased from LR Norwood, didn’t have a problem getting the VIN # long before it was at the port. We also financed externally, no issues there though of course they try and convince you they can match or beat your rate when doing the paperwork. It was about a week from port to Norwood, you should have your new wheels soon. I would stop in when you know your salesperson is there to say hi and get what you need

Nice a week sounds reasonable, probably with an extra day or three due to the season and holidays. I figured we'd be able to close the deal next week.

Since I know land rover US adds inventory to it's site well before it arrives at the dealership, I just started looking there. Since I have a pretty specific build I was able to find 110 S that is in transit to Norwood that perfectly matches my build, grabbed the VIN, and once my question changed from 'What is the vin' to 'Can you confirm the vin is X' my sales guy very quickly confirmed it. My guess is this is a method he uses to stack the deck a little towards us using their in-house financing. I did tell that him if they can meet or beat 60 @ 1.99 I'll go with theirs as I have no bank loyalty lol.

That timing sounds about right, I had tracked when it arrived on the ship in port of Baltimore....it sat for a few days then took several days to Norwood. I think we drove away the day after it arrived at the dealership! . Strange your salesperson didn't have the VIN, either he was lazy or you are right in thinking. We worked with Rene there, she is great....highly recommend her next time!

Received the same rate at the credit union, always prefer doing business with them though over dealer financing. I've also read stories on this forum that some dealers try to put their own name on the title with yours for 1.5 years when you finance through them, if you sell they get first right of refusal or something along those lines. No idea if LR Norwood try's that BS. Either way, you will be made to sign a document saying you will not export the vehicle for 1 year, if you do and caught you could be sued for 30k. It was kind of thrown in last minute when doing the paperwork. Obviously not something most of us would ever do so a non-issue to sign for me.

Hey Greenie - FYI I just got notified my Defender is now on a ship (not sure when it sailed or which ship) and is due in Baltimore port on Jan 2. You may want to check with your sales person re status of your car.

Picked up mine yesterday! Definitely feels more like a manly truck style than my Mercedes suv.
