Default Charge capture?

Hi All,
I’m new here. I just ordered a 110 Defender through a local dealer. I put a deposit down and the invoice says “charge capture”. Any idea what that means?

Thanks
David

Good luck. LA and Norcal will mostly all charge markup. The dealers that don't charge markup have a *huge* wait list (in these specific areas)
After physically seeing with my own eyes the amount of Defenders coming in by dealer order for this year, it appears this issue is going to last easily through this year.

Thanks,
There was no markup when I picked up my 110SE in September 2021, JLR San Diego. Don't know what if that is still the case for new orders, though.

Anyone know a way to tell which ship may be picking up the next load? My Defender was built 12/1 and is at the port.

Mine was built around the same time, the dealer gave me the ship's name, "Morning Lena" which is presently between the coast of France and the Canaries enrollee to Panama, arriving at the canal on the 14th, Long Beach around the 22nd. There are loads of ship tracking sites that use the AIS data the ship transmits. It did a regular bussman's tour of Europe before the transit, Belgium to England to Sweden back to Belgium. Shipments are scarce so they go all over trying to fill up before they transit.

Removed so far. Heads up display and Matrix led

Originally production date: June, so September ..and now.. 2022?
I finally got a production date, February 2022, deliver date March 5. The positive is that it will be a 2023 model, and I managed to change the colour to "gondwana stone" with a black roof/blackpack.

No drama ordering, no drama waiting, came as expected. What a perfect utilitarian machine w/ purpose and enough tech to make life very easy!

Congratulations! That is interesting. I have a 110 V8 on order in Canada and the production date is Jan 14. The truck is a 2022 model. Is it safe to assume that production switchover for the model year is end of January?

I won't allow myself to get excited until I get word that mine was actually built on the 14th.
