Nothing specific yet, but my dealer seems to think first week of March is when they'll know more from JLR as that's when they were told they can start putting in new MY22 orders.

Early Jan order for a P300

Changed it two weeks ago

Build date end of March

Delivery end of May

Not sure how I squeaked under the line; I think it was the lack of the MHEV but have no proof. I was in the regular dealer allocation for Jan; they would not take the order until they had that, so that might be a part of it too

Interesting, thanks for the replies. I also have a P300 S order that was placed on 1/6/21. I’m in Chicago and have my order reservation with Howard Orloff here in the city. They’re a large dealer so I wouldn’t think order allocation or anything would have to do with it but who knows.

might depend on if they got enough in Jan to satisfy prior orders, I guess. My dealer is — I guess — smaller and we’re very transparent that they didn’t know how many they’d get, how many P300 vs P400 and that they wouldn’t take the order until they got it.

Seemed frustrating at the time. Now I’m pretty glad.

Exactly! Getting just 50 miles on an electric charge really brings down the freedom to do anything.

I saw in the other post that you are in Idaho. Why did you not use the Boise dealer?
I have a home in Portland as well and they are a bigger dealer. And agree..think they are having some manufacturing issues. could be parts, covid or others

In the US maybe that's true, but not in Europe.

JLR offers more diesel than petrol options for the LR fleet over there.
