So update by my dealer (in Germany) here is the screen grab of the vista 2 page, nothing happened since one month. 😱😞

I have just taken delivery of my 2022 D250 XSE in the UK , I went to the dealer 3 weeks ago to look at them and was told there was 2 on the way to the dealer one silver one Gondwana Stone
so I snapped up the stone one, took delivery last Friday, she told me that’s it , they can’t get anything else for 12 months !!!

For those of you watching, Thermopylae just showed up on land based AIS tracking websites!! I have no idea if my defender is even on Thermopylae but it’s exciting to follow nonetheless

 

My defender is on the oberon and it has been in the panama canal area for the last three days. It made it into the port and then was sent out north apparently waiting to enter the canal. Now its in the canal but not moving. Very interesting.

 

There was a gorgeous V8 D90 at the local dealer we were interested in, but they were asking 50k over sticker for it. We would have taken it home at MSRP possibly even a small markup, but the car market right now is in crazytown. If anyone has a line on a V8 for reasonable money please reach out. Maybe such a thing doesn't exist since a few found their way to the U.S. before the whole thing was put on pause because of supply chain issues.

I believe the one on the left is sold (definitely at a markup) and the one on the right is the one I was talking about in the story above.
