HUD is kind of useful (had it in several BMWs) but mostly for keeping constant awareness of speed in a seriously quick car. I don't have that problem in the Defender so I don't miss it.

11.4" vs 10" would make no difference to me. I think the 10" in mine looks about 'right' for the interior.
100% agree with this.

Me too. I feel like I need glasses or get vertigo looking at it and the thing sucks at night or in rain. I still can't believe they couldn't do a better job on this Clearsight mirror esp after marketing talked it up.

If I lived in Brentwood in LA, and my car was always clean, I could see the value. In real world conditions it's weak at best.

I've no issue with ClearSight, I find it quite helpful, particularly if you have a lot in the back that obstructs the regular rear view. Bigger issue IMO is the appalling performance of the reversing lighting. I have no idea if there are federal standards on this, but if there are I can't believe the reverse lighting meets them. It's astonishingly weak.

Clearsight is brilliant and I never use the physical mirror as the scope of view of the clearsight is superior and provides me better assessment of what's behind me. I don't have any issues regarding focusing and/or vertigo and etc.

You guys complaining about Clearsight might want to take up with your dealer or better adjust it, because mine works perfectly fine and is SUPER helpful if you have stuff in the back all the way to the top. I have never flipped the switch back after a couple hours using it and miss all the time when driving our other car. One thing that was particularly helpful to me while adjusting is try and avoid positioning like a traditional mirror. So do not adjust as regular mirror to your position and then flip to CS. Flip it first and then adjust it. It will help with glare tremendously.

Quoting myself, I know, but a follow-up:

Mine came with everything I spec's out save for IDD. The TFT version is fine, like many others have noted, you stick something up there day1 and you're done.

Enhanced headlights were not available and frankly, they're fluff since I have plenty of forward light.

I'm a big fan of the ClearSight mirror when on the highway. It gives a nice view of each lane on either side of me and frequently shows what cars/motorcycles are there, especially those who might be speeding up into my blind spots.

I am a big fan of ClearSight. Not a fan of its quality. I have it, and I am happy, but the night view is crap. For those who missed it in the ordering process, here is something you can replace it with. I am using on my '06 Toyota:

WOLFBOX G840S 12" 4K Mirror Dash Cam Backup Camera, 2160P Full HD Smart Rearview Mirror for Cars & Trucks, Front and Rear View Dual Cameras, Night Vision, Parking Assistance, Free 32GB Card & GPS.

You find this on Amazon, for under 120$ and it is extremely easy to install. I do not advertise any vendor or product, but I got this and I am truly impressed by quality, way better than the OEM in Defender. Again, there are many out there, not saying this is the best or greatest. If you don't like it you can just return it, or try a different one.

This option worked for me as a ClearSight replacement: (Link). My problem was that the Dealer dropped the add in a MY change over. Had nothing to do with supply problems at the time. I'm very likely to retro-fit the mirror in the next couple months. I just have some prior projects first.
