Default 2024 Defender 90 A Pillar noise

I took my 90 in for the second time for what sounds like a wind tunnel in my cabin. The tech did a ride along and told me that this is just what they sound like which seems crazy. Since ethey tried to fix it once and agreed it was super loud. Has anyone done a video online of the loud wind noise before they got it fixed? I would like to send it to the dealer.

Yeah, they've had issues with the A-pillar trim since launch. Hell, many Land Rovers have had this same problem for decades. I had one of the early "fixes," TSB# JLRTB02058NAS1, where they replaced the trim pieces and used extra 3M adhesive.

The TSB fixed the problem for a while, but it eventually came back and still makes some noise at speeds above ~80 mph. I've just learned to deal with it, and now that my extended warranty probably won't cover this, I see no reason to have it repaired again.

Ongoing known issue with some Defenders and shame on Land Rover for not resolving this annoying A pillar crap noise once and for all. I had it on my first 2020 Defender since new and it took 4 visits to get it fixed. My 2022 Defender did not have it, another 2023 Defender did not have it, and my last 2025 Defender does not have it. Just be persistent with your dealership and let them fix it, so that it can be noted in your history with the dealership. Good luck.

I might give this a try.

I have a 23 now and had zero issues with the A-Pillars unlike my 2020 which took many visits to sort out. On the 23 I replaced the windshield with an aftermarket (which my insurance took care of) and then the A-Pillars were a problem. The passenger side flew off on the highway and the windshield company came out and "fixed" it by gluing the pillar back in place. Ugh. But it still made noise. So I booked into the dealership and before I made it there the driver side flew off. Dealer replaced the driver side under warranty but stated that since I installed an aftermarket windshield they won't do that again. Driver side is rock solid now, even with the aftermarket windshield. Passenger side not so much.

Exactly what I did - worked like a charm though pretty sad I need to add weatherstripping to my car to make it less noisy.
