Cell service at my house is very weak and I had similar software upgrade problems back in 2021. I installed another Wi-Fi router in the room over the garage. Turned off "cellular data" in the connectivity menu and connected the Defender to the home Wi-Fi network. No software update issues ever since, including 4.1.5 on both our Defenders. Maybe try doing the same then installing update 4.1.5 again.
I've only had my truck about a month but have tried a few times to get it to connect to my home Wifi. It never works, despite oodles of coverage in my garage and an access point in the ceiling directly above it.
I don't suppose LR ever releases the full "patch notes", so to speak? I don't want to risk bricking my truck but my OCD goes nuts knowing that's not current. (I know it's ridiculous.)

That ocurred to me too since Pivi thought I was still on 4.1.4 which tells me the update failed badly enough to leave the car in an inconsistent state. I pulled the car up as close to the house as possible (no easy feat without power steering!), forced the wifi connection, and the 4.1.5 update prompt popped up again. An hour later and the update completed successfully!
Another lesson that LR is a terrible software company, and if you do consent to OTA update do it at home and on the stablest internet connection possible.
