LR164064 replaced LR147248 (don’t know why they came out with a new part number).

LR164064 is the one I bought new last week and works great.

my guess is that when you call the Dealer Parts counter they will only order the new LR164064. Just give them your VIN and they will guide you to the correct one (if there is any question)

 

Thanks for the info. I assumed it was a superseded PN, but strange I was only seeing it listed for 2022-2023MY vehicles on LR parts websites. Wanted to confirm it also works for a 2024.

 

My long post (just above yours) is basically the same issue you are asking. The key wasn’t listed for my 2020 either. But after reading and researching this forum, I decided to give it a shot regardless. And as my post says, it works great on my 2020 despite the fact that the Dealer, Parts guy, and even the online Land Rover retailer I bought the key from ALL said that it isn’t available for my VIN.
