Default Advanced Off Road Capability Pack with coils (aftermarket)?

I posted this question on another forum, but thought there were some smart people here I should ask. I've done some searching but haven't found this question answered yet; forgive me if I missed it.

I know that you can't order the Advanced Off Road Capability Pack on a new Defender without also ordering the air suspension. But I also know that it's possible to activate software options aftermarket (probably drives the dealers nuts).

Does anyone know if you can enable the Advanced Off Road Capability Pack if the vehicle came with coil springs? Or is there something in the software that requires the air suspension (software-driven adjustments to ride height, maybe) that means you can't get the advanced software unless you also have air?

Thanks!

You can enable the advanced off road pack with coils after purchasing.

Yes . I activated mine with coila and no rear locker. I think you have to add air suspension when ordering your vehicle to get the advanced.

Great, thanks. My 110S arrives in July (that's what the dealer is seeing, at least), so once it arrives I'll ask how I can get the feature activated.

@sarek - That beast doesn't have a rear locker?? I'm shocked!! Tell me you've added one since. If not, then I absolutely believe they aren't needed. I've seen the things you've taken that thing thru....

I have not added one yet. It is surprisingly capable without it. I am sure having one would help, however, it is not required. The ring gear is weded to the diff carrier on the open diffs, so adding an aftermarket locker is more complicated. Retrofitting the factory locker is doable, however, is very complicated and pricey.
